In his role as a CEO, Robert focuses on setting the strategic direction for Xplanis and enabling the organization to build industry-leading transport management systems.

He brings over 10 years of experience from Bombardier Transportation and Siemens. As Head of Product for Mobility-as-a-Service software at Siemens Mobility, Robert has led the organization from the first pilot customer through an international expansion. His experience gave him the opportunity to develop the skills that are needed to build successful software products: From building high-performing teams, to leading product design optimized for customer success and scalability. His proximity to customers from pre-sales to project execution provided him with valuable insight into the needs of customers purchasing industry-grade B2B software.

Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL and a Master’s degree in Robotics, Systems and Control from ETH Zurich.
